2027 bachelor’s · Application period

2026-11-01 to 2027-05-31. Submit application materials through the system by the deadline.

For 2027 international undergraduate admission, applicants must be at least 18, have completed senior high school or higher with good grades, hold a valid foreign ordinary passport, and meet CAU’s nationality, health and conduct requirements. Applicants who emigrated from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan must satisfy the requirements of at least four years holding a foreign passport or nationality certificate and at least two years of actual residence abroad within the latest four years. Former Chinese citizens must also provide naturalisation and Chinese household-registration cancellation certificates, four years of passport entry/exit stamp pages, and evidence of overseas study during that period. Provide a valid HSK Level 5 or higher certificate. The published Food Science and Engineering requirements do not give a programme-specific HSK score. The 2027 programme catalogue requires CSCA Chinese, mathematics, physics and chemistry, with at least 50 points in each. CAU may arrange foundation studies at a partner institution for applicants below the threshold who perform excellently in the interview. The HSK certificate and CSCA Chinese result are separate requirements; neither replaces the other. The attachment does not specify which Chinese paper category to take. Documents: passport photo page; senior-high-school graduation certificate and transcript (current students may first submit a school-issued expected-graduation certificate and provide the diploma after admission); HSK certificate; CSCA transcript; recommendation letters from senior-high-school subject teachers (the English guide specifies two); physical-examination form; all Chinese visa information and China entry/exit records; a non-criminal-record certificate; and the original financial-guarantee letter with a copy of the guarantor’s identification. The English guide requires passport expiry later than December 2027. Certificates must be Chinese or English originals or notarised copies; documents in other languages need notarised Chinese or English translations. Present all originals at registration. CAU may request additional documents. Submit through CAU’s international-student application system from 1 November 2026 to 31 May 2027. Assessment combines document review and an online interview; check email and the system for interview arrangements. The chosen major cannot be changed, including at later allocation from the broad-category stage.

2027 bachelor’s · Nationality and health

Applicants must not hold Chinese nationality under the PRC Nationality Law, must hold a valid foreign ordinary passport, meet visa, residence-permit and programme health requirements, and have no disciplinary, public-security-penalty or criminal records.

2027 bachelor’s · Applicants who emigrated and acquired foreign nationality

Former residents of mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan applying after emigrating must have held a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for at least four years and actually lived abroad for at least two of the preceding four years. Former Chinese citizens must also provide naturalization and Chinese household-registration cancellation evidence, four years of passport entry/exit pages and overseas-study evidence.

2027 bachelor’s · HSK

HSK Level 5 or above; Veterinary Medicine requires at least 250 at HSK Level 5. Submit a valid certificate.

2027 bachelor’s · CSCA examination

All bachelor applicants must submit CSCA results. Required subjects vary by major in the attachment; the passing score is 50 for each subject.

Study food nutrition, processing and storage, smart manufacturing and engineering design, together with food quality, safety and hygiene management. Year one covers food science and engineering; major-specific study starts in year two. The college’s programme introduction dated 20 March 2024 lists food microbiology, food chemistry, principles of food engineering, food analysis and food biotechnology with their laboratory components. It also includes food nutrition, principles of food preservation, physical properties of food, agricultural-product processing and its laboratory work, food-factory design and equipment, food hygiene and safety control, and a food-factory production internship. These are published examples of core subjects and practical training, rather than a complete semester-by-semester timetable for international students entering in 2027.

The English guide asks for two recommendations from high-school subject teachers; the Chinese guide does not specify a number. Confirm the number with the university.
