Pre-admitted candidates then submitted CSC Type B applications in late March, using agency number 10272. Master’s applicants are normally no older than 35 and doctoral applicants no older than 40.

Recipients receive full tuition and on-campus accommodation waivers plus comprehensive medical insurance. Monthly stipends are RMB 3,000 for master’s and RMB 3,500 for doctoral students. A university nomination still requires CSC approval.

Sanmen Road accommodation

The Sanmen Road international dormitory charges RMB 60 per person per day for a twin room and RMB 80 or 100 for a single room. The check-in deposit is RMB 800; utilities and laundry are separate.
