Bachelor Program in Clinical Medicine (MBBS)

Chinese Clinical Medicine and English MBBS applications both ran from 2026-01-01 to 2026-06-30 for autumn entry.

Six years including a one-year internship. Non-Chinese citizens under 25 with a high-school diploma; under-18s need university approval and notarized guardianship. High-school GPA ≥3.0/4 must include physics or mathematics, biology and chemistry. English evidence: IELTS 6 with each component ≥5, TOEFL 85 with each ≥15, Duolingo 115 or high-school English-medium evidence. CSCA mathematics and chemistry are compulsory.

Five years including a one-year internship; HSK 4 or above and high-school GPA ≥3.0/4 with physics or mathematics, biology and chemistry. CSCA STEM Chinese, mathematics and chemistry are compulsory.

Annual tuition in RMB: English MBBS 34,000; Chinese Clinical Medicine 30,000; master’s 35,000; doctoral 38,000.

The undergraduate FAQ states that there is no application fee. Degree guides separately list a registration fee of RMB 500. MBBS medical insurance is RMB 600/year.

Non-refundable pre-admission deposits in RMB: English MBBS 13,000; Chinese Clinical Medicine 4,500; regular MPH and doctoral routes 5,000; other regular master’s routes 18,000. The separate 2026 public-health master’s prospectus sets a 5,000 deposit for both its academic and professional routes. The pre-admission notice sets the payment deadline.

NMU award tiers in RMB: English MBBS 5,000/8,500/17,000/34,000; Chinese Clinical Medicine 7,500/15,000/30,000; master’s 17,500/35,000. Doctoral full-tuition support is RMB 38,000 excluding government-scholarship recipients. Government agencies determine their quotas. Undergraduate NMU awards are considered automatically and do not replace the deposit. English MBBS is not covered by CSC Type A or B.

Jiangning twin rooms: RMB 6,000/person/year. Wutai twin/three-person/four-person rooms: RMB 8,000/6,800/6,000 per person/year. Graduate single rooms are RMB 12,000/person/year. Utilities are charged monthly and housing is subject to room supply.

Signed application form, passport valid for at least one year, diploma and full transcripts, language evidence, criminal-record certificate, physical examination within 6 months and CSCA results from the past 12 months. The English MBBS personal statement requires at least 500 words; Chinese Clinical Medicine requires at least 500 Chinese characters or 500 English words. Applicants of Chinese descent need nationality-verification documents; English MBBS also requires a white-background photo.
