The 2026 general graduate deadline was 15 May 2026 at 00:00 Beijing time and has passed. Self-funded International Chinese Language Education master’s applications closed on 30 June 2026 at 00:00. Scholarship routes have separate deadlines.

The 2026 special doctoral route offers Resources and Environment, Applied Statistics, and Ecology, all taught in Chinese over four years at RMB 10,000 per academic year. Research fields include soil erosion and soil/water conservation; statistical machine learning and Bayesian statistics; and insect ecology respectively. Yunnan University awards the degree.

The 2026 catalogue normally lists three-year master’s and four-year doctoral study. Base annual tuition is RMB 8,000 for academic master’s programmes, RMB 8,000–12,000 for professional master’s programmes and RMB 10,000 for doctorates. English-taught study adds RMB 5,000 per year to the corresponding base tuition.

Comprehensive medical insurance costs RMB 800 per person per academic year. The Chinese Language guide also quotes RMB 400 per person per semester.

The university scholarship covers full-time bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral routes. Applicants must be aged 18–30 with a high-school qualification for bachelor’s study, 20–40 with a bachelor’s degree for master’s study, or 22–45 with a master’s degree for doctoral study. The undergraduate age condition applies to this scholarship route. The deadline, 30 June 2026 at 00:00, has passed.

Full awards waive tuition and on-campus accommodation. Partial awards provide partial tuition and housing support, with recipients paying RMB 5,000 tuition per year. Both depend on the university’s award decision.

On-campus rooms generally accommodate four students. Allocation depends on capacity and student preferences, prices depend on room conditions, and water and electricity are charged separately.
