The self-funded graduate deadline for academic year 2026–2027 was extended from 2026-05-15 to 2026-07-15, Beijing time. The extension applied only to self-funded graduate applications.

The 2026 graduate scholarship deadline was 2026-03-31 at 17:00 Beijing time, separate from the extended self-funded deadline.

Master applicants need a bachelor’s degree and must be under 35; doctoral applicants need a master’s degree and must be under 40. Chinese-medium programmes require HSK 4 ≥180, with HSK 5 ≥180 for International Chinese Education. English programmes accept IELTS 6, TOEFL 80, Duolingo 110 or equivalent.

English-taught professional master’s programmes in clinical medicine and stomatology also require Chinese-language evidence. Applicants below the threshold may undertake a one-year Chinese preparatory period before beginning the degree after reaching HSK 4.

2026 annual tuition in RMB: Chinese science/engineering 34,000; English science/engineering 39,000; Chinese or English economics/business/humanities 30,000; arts/medicine 50,000. English dentistry is 50,000 and English pharmacy 30,000/year.

RMB 500 for self-funded applications or RMB 800 for scholarship applications; both are non-refundable.

Full Chinese Government Scholarships for graduate students cover tuition, accommodation, a living stipend and comprehensive medical insurance; awards require a separate funding decision.

Official dormitory rates across Xingqing, Yanta and iHarbour are RMB 8,000–19,000/year, depending on campus, room type and reservation.

Degree certificates and full transcripts, two recommendations from associate professors or above, language evidence, passport, physical examination and blood tests within 6 months, and criminal-record certificate. Master research plans require at least 1,000 characters/words and doctoral plans at least 1,500; selected programmes require supervisor acceptance. Academic documents in other languages need notarized translations.
