Bachelor's · 2027 intake

Urban Regeneration and Design Program

Tsinghua’s English-taught Urban Regeneration and Design Program at Zijing College combines urban and architectural design with computing, AI and interdisciplinary engineering. Personal projects and urban-regeneration practice connect design decisions to actual cities. After four years, students may graduate with a Bachelor of Engineering in architecture, urban planning or landscape architecture; an additional year and completion of the full requirements lead to a Bachelor of Architecture. Plan the two degree routes separately. For 2027 entry, round one runs from 30 September to 20 November 2026 and round two from 21 November 2026 to 28 February 2027; both close at 17:00 Beijing time. Tuition is RMB 100,000 per academic year, plus a one-time RMB 800 application fee and RMB 800 annual medical insurance; accommodation is additional. Applicants need qualifying foreign nationality and a full-time, in-person high-school qualification. Non-native English speakers submit official English test results; Chinese proficiency evidence is not required for this English route. Apply through Tsinghua’s international undergraduate portal; document screening precedes the separately notified comprehensive assessment.
