Electrical Engineering and Automation
Electrical Engineering and Automation is listed within Ziqiang College in Tsinghua’s Chinese-English undergraduate catalogue. The college focuses on future and smart energy, connecting established engineering majors with areas such as smart grids, energy materials, energy storage and hydrogen energy. Research and industry practice support its engineering education. This entry concerns the Ziqiang College route; the separately listed English-only Zijing College programme has its own admissions guide. The international catalogue requires a strong mathematics and English foundation and high-school physics for this college. Applicants should check the college’s arrangements for confirming their eventual major; the final list may change at enrolment. Before applying, verify the relevant year’s college intake, major-selection procedure and language documents. The catalogue does not state an intake year and does not by itself confirm a particular application window.
